Creator economy

Brand deal

Also known as: Brand deals, Brand agreement, Sponsorship deal

A brand deal is any commercial agreement between a brand and creator to publish sponsored content, make live mentions, appear in advertising material or represent the brand for a period. Deals range from one-off sponsorships (a single placement) to annual contracts with sector exclusivity. They are the dominant monetisation source for mid- and top-tier creators, ahead of native platform advertising and audience subscriptions.

Context

A proper brand deal defines deliverables (number of pieces, duration, platform), schedule, reference KPIs, sector-exclusivity clauses (optional but common in iGaming), legal briefing, advance review windows and payment structure (fixed, variable or mixed). iGaming brand deals usually include a compliance clause committing the creator to the advertising protocol applicable to the activated market (RD 958/2020 in Spain, LATAM equivalents).

How we apply it at SocialPro

SocialPro structures creator brand deals through an agency framework agreement plus campaign-specific annexes, giving creators visibility and operators traceability. Compliance is a clause, not an optional appendix.
