Twitch CPM
Also known as: Cost Per Mille, Cost per thousand Twitch impressions
CPM (Cost Per Mille) on Twitch is the price a brand pays a streamer for every thousand impressions of sponsored content during a live stream. It is calculated from average concurrent viewers multiplied by the duration of the sponsored mention or segment. It is the reference metric for valuing brand-awareness sponsorships — unlike CPA or RevShare, it does not depend on subsequent audience conversion actions.
Context
Twitch CPM varies enormously by language, vertical and timing — a top English-speaking streamer can have double-digit CPM, while an emerging streamer in a Latin American market may be below that. In verticals such as iGaming, where advertisers primarily seek conversions, CPM is a comparative reference but contracts usually use CPA or RevShare. In gaming hardware, energy, clothing or snacks, CPM remains dominant because there is no directly traceable conversion action.
How we apply it at SocialPro
SocialPro presents comparable CPM ranges by vertical to the operator during the briefing phase to calibrate cost expectations before signing. Actual iGaming payments are always contracted on CPA or RevShare; CPM is an analytical reference.
