FTD
Also known as: FTDs, First Time Deposit, First Deposit
FTD (First Time Deposit) is the first real-money deposit a user makes with an iGaming operator after registering. It is the primary conversion metric in casino, sportsbook and poker campaigns: it measures how many new players bring real money to the platform for the first time, not just how many register. A registration without an FTD does not count as a valid conversion in most operator–agency contracts.
Context
FTDs replaced registrations as the main metric for economic reasons: operators pay affiliates according to the real value players bring, and a registration without a deposit has zero value. The minimum deposit that qualifies as an FTD varies by operator and market (typically €10–€20 in Spain; less in LATAM). When a campaign uses unique affiliate links for each creator, every FTD is automatically attributed to the streamer who generated that registration, without relying on estimates or third-party analytics.
How we apply it at SocialPro
All SocialPro iGaming campaigns are contracted against a target of FTDs verified in the operator’s dashboard. In the 2025 1WIN campaign, this model generated 340+ FTDs attributable to specific streamers.
